On World Wildlife Day, America is experiencing its own ‘biodiversity crisis’

Although March 3rd is World Wildlife Day, America is facing its own biodiversity crisis. Our nation now has more than 1,300 rare and endangered species, and the primary cause has been widespread habitat loss from activities such as timber harvesting, agriculture, and urban sprawl. All of this destruction has been driven by our population growth. What makes America unique among rapidly-growing countries is that our high growth in numbers is facilitated primarily through permissive immigration policies.

Stop the madness. Reject Plan C in the budget reconciliation bill

It has been a painful few months hearing about the humanitarian crisis at the border, and I want to believe that you have good intentions. However, this feeling is fading in light of the poor decisions you are making with your immigration policies. I’m very hopeful that you will get things back on track and keep immigration out of the budget reconciliation bill.
