Stop preferential treatment of H-1B workers

As an American tech worker, I find it disgusting that IBM posted jobs that preferred foreign workers on temporary visas over American tech workers, while at the same time, they lobby Washington for increases in foreign workers. How are American tech workers supposed to find jobs when corporations can break the law and hire foreign workers at will? Please make sure that American workers have the first shot at any job, and that the federal government prosecutes companies that hire foreign workers over qualified American workers.

I work in the technology industry and I can safely say that there is no shortage of workers in my field. This myth is propagated by those who want to have a steady supply of expendable labor they can hire at lower wages. Please act to reduce this surplus of labor so that all American STEM workers can find well-paying jobs.

Hypocrisy on parade: Reid was against illegal immigration before he was for it

In 1993, Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) stood on the floor of the Senate and made a speech lamenting the fact that illegal aliens were flooding this country, and how the U.S. rewards them.

Sen. Reid went on to complain that no sane country would grant citizenship to the children of illegal aliens.
