I was outraged to learn that the Gang of Eight’s amnesty bill will add 33 million people to the United States’ population in the next ten years, and 20 million people every decade after that! How is this just to the 22 million Americans unable to find a full-time job? I urge you to oppose this horrible bill.

Bullet train bid rules altered (4/19/2013)

Changes allowed Tutor Perini to rank as the top firm despite a low technical score.

State high-speed rail officials acknowledged Thursday that they changed their rules for selecting a builder for the bullet train’s first phase in the Central Valley, a shift that subsequently made it possible for a consortium led by Sylmar-based Tutor Perini to be ranked as the top candidate despite receiving the lowest technical rating.

Dueling headlines: DHS version

DHS Denies Ammo Purchase Aimed at Civilians

Just so we’re clear, DHS stands for Department of Homeland Security. It’s a bit of a misnomer, because it doesn’t really protect our homeland (such as, from foreign invasion or conquest), it is more like a Federal police force. That is, it’s purview is only those living in the United States. Thus, anything it buys is in furtherance of its mission of being a Federal police force within U.S. borders. Thus, if it buys 1.6 billion rounds of ammo, DHS is arming itself to for possible conflict(s) with people here in America.
