Protect endangered species: Reduce immigration-driven population growth

Our country’s growing population played a role in the fate of the 23 species that have now been declared extinct. You must wake up to the fact that our environment doesn’t care about politics, and as long as Congress refuses to reduce immigration to a lower level, our population will continue to grow. This will thwart our ability to further protect threatened species and their habitats. I understand that this is a sensitive issue, but it is of utmost importance that prompt action is taken to maintain healthy ecosystems and biodiversity. This cannot be achieved if we constantly have to accommodate more people. Ninety percent of our projected population growth is due to immigration. You must reduce this number.

Why does the budget reconciliation bill provide waivers for human smugglers?

I cannot understand why Democrats are adding immigration provisions that reward human smugglers to the budget reconciliation process during a border crisis! Not only do the provisions to issue work permits to 8 million people who crossed the border illegally or overstayed a visa provide human smugglers with a great sales pitch — the provisions also include waivers to allow the human smugglers themselves to apply for green cards!

Oppose any budget reconciliation bill that grants amnesty

Democrats are making a terrible error by trying to use the budget reconciliation process to issue permanent work permits to 8 million illegal border crossers and visa overstayers. This is especially true while human smugglers and cartels make billions of dollars promising impoverished Central Americans that illegal immigration pays off.
