There are far too many Americans who can’t find work. Unfortunately, many of these Americans are less-educated or lower-skilled and have far fewer job options than many Americans. Passing H.R. 4340 would help these disadvantaged Americans by ending chain migration and the visa lottery and mandating the use of the E-Verify system.

Pass American LAWS Act
Rep. Dave Brat has introduced H.R. 4340, the American LAWS Act. This legislation would go a long way to solving some of our nation’s most pressing immigration problems and I feel it is imperative that you and your colleagues on the House Republican Leadership and on the House immigration task force do all you can to get this legislation passed. Passing H.R. 4340 would help these disadvantaged Americans by ending chain migration and the visa lottery and mandating the use of the E-Verify system.
Support Trump’s immigration principles
I was very pleased to see President Trump’s list of immigration principles and I support each and every one. Foremost among these principles are mandating use of the E-Verify system and ending the chain migration.

Please pass legislation that would require all employers to use E-Verify. Mandating E-Verify will prevent illegal aliens from finding jobs and help Americans get back to work.

Pass mandatory E-Verify
Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security John Kelly issued two memos today that cleared out most of the rubbish of past Administration internal memos and basically declared that federal law enforcement officers are now free to apply any law that Congress passed to discourage illegal immigration.
Mandate E-Verify, end chain migration
During the GOP’s upcoming policy retreat in Philadelphia, I urge you and your fellow Republicans to make mandating use of the E-Verify system and ending chain migration legislative priorities, as doing so would fulfill GOP campaign promises to stand up for American workers.
