The New York Times reports that Yosemite National Park is experiencing some of its worst traffic congestion in years after the National Park Service ended its summer reservation system. Like many national parks, Yosemite is struggling with chronic overcrowding. Park managers increasingly face a no-win choice: ration access through reservation systems or allow growing congestion to diminish both the visitor experience and park resources.

There is a lesson here about limits. Even huge national parks are subject to limits. Huge nations are too.

Immigration policy is one of the few tools Congress directly controls that influences future demand for housing, infrastructure, water, and open space. Please help incorporate immigration policy into America’s broader conservation strategy by cosponsoring S. 1328, the Nuclear Family Priority Act, which would limit chain migration and moderate future immigration-driven population growth.
