I am very disappointed to hear that you voted YEA on yesterday’s S. Amdt. 3192 to S 2454. Thank goodness it failed anyway. Today, I am writing in regards to the Hagel/Martinez bill, which as I understand it is 95% of the Judiciary Committee’s horrid amnesty proposal, which was voted down Thursday.

I am not sure why you believe it is good policy to reward illegal aliens with jobs and legal status, but I am totally opposed to it. I’m disappointed in your vote in favor of amnesty-guestworker.

I can’t believe that you, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, yesterday voted to give what can only be called blanket amnesty to illegal aliens. You had the choice of tossing out the law-breakers or tossing out our laws. You sided with the law-breakers. You sided with people who don’t vote, who don’t pay taxes, who are parasites on our infrastructure, and who couldn’t care less about us as a country.
