Measure the environmental impact of immigration policies

The Massachusetts Coalition for Immigration Reform (MCIR) is suing several federal agencies based on their failure to comply with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) regarding Resident Biden’s immigration policies. These policies, notably terminating remain in Mexico, preventing deportation proceedings for illegal aliens, and failure to finish the southern border wall are all subject to NEPA analysis, due to the huge environmental impact of adding millions of immigrants to the U.S. population.

Democratic cities are being overwhelmed by border surge

New York City Mayor Adams is overwhelmed by busloads of migrants coming from the border. Cities closer to the border have been overwhelmed for months. There is nothing compassionate about facilitating a border crisis. End asylum fraud, catch and release, and the abuse of parole authority. Reinstate and mandate the Migration Protection Protocols program.

Immigration hurts minority workers, especially American descendants of slavery

I’m deeply concerned that legislators are waging an immigration offensive that will worsen the job prospects for American descendants of slaves, working class Americans, and U.S.-born STEM professionals. Please make helping the American middle-class your primary legislative focus. More immigration means fewer jobs for the American citizens that need them the most.

Americans need access to untrampled open space

Nature-lovers such as myself care most about biodiversity/species extinction and the incremental loss of America’s dwindling open spaces, e.g., wildlife habitat and wilderness. These problems are a direct and readily-observable result of our nation’s population growth.
