• Conservation in nature

According to the news today, an earthquake in the Solomon Islands has lifted a prime coral reef 10 feet free of the sea, effectively destroying the reef. That is, in a couple of minutes, “nature” destroyed something in a way that man could not have, short of using nuclear devices.

  • Tell Pelosi no

One of the best ways you can go on record as opposing amnesty is to sign the Immigration Reform Caucus letter to Speaker Pelosi asking her to oppose amnesty.

  • No immigration increase

Americans do not want to live in a country of half a billion people, but that is exactly where we’re headed if President Bush gets the immigration increases he is seeking.

  • Taxpayer-subsidized amnesty costs

The White House and Senate Republicans have reached a new low with their latest taxpayer-subsidized illegal alien amnesty bill!

  • Pledge to improve America

Instead of making pledges to citizens of foreign countries, you should be pledging to protect American citizens from the harmful effects of mass immigration.

  • Oppose the DREAM Act

The DREAM Act is nothing more than an amnesty disguised in a school uniform. Please oppose it.

  • Cosponsor H.R. 1430

H.R. 1430, the Security and Fairness Enhancement for America Act, is important legislation. Please join Rep. Goodlatte and other Republicans in supporting this legislation.

  • No Bush amnesty

I’ve heard that the Bush Administration is claiming it has enough support in Congress to pass its latest amnesty.

  • Liberal conservationism

A friend of mine went to the Australian Open this year, and while down under he visited the Great Barrier Reef. He said that the water was so warm — 93 degrees — that the reef was dying. There are those among us — to whom I refer as liberal conservationists — who believe this rise in water temperature is due to human-caused global warming. For example, there is the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, which falsely claims:

  • No to step-out-step-in amnesty

Please don’t be fooled into thinking that a plan to reward illegal aliens with jobs and residency, even if they leave the country, is anything other than amnesty.

  • Oppose Bush’s amnesty proposal

I am writing to make clear my opposition to any sort of plan to reward illegal aliens, including the latest scheme by the Bush Administration to create a step-in-step-out amnesty.

  • Support the REAL ID Act

Any plan to delay implementation of the REAL ID Act will leave the United States vulnerable to future terrorist attacks. Please do not cosponsor H.R. 1117.

  • You have sold out the American people

You have sold out the American people for 14 million illegal aliens who never voted for you, and aren’t likely to vote for candidates in the Republican Party which you claim to embrace.

  • Support Attrition Through Enforcement

Please consult with Rep. Steve King about his Attrition Through Enforcement solution to illegal immigration.

  • No banking services for illegal aliens

Stop giving credit cards and bank accounts to illegal aliens!

  • Support Attrition Through Enforcement

It may be unrealistic to deport all illegal aliens, but that does not mean we should provide them with amnesty. You should consult with Rep. Steve King about his Attrition Through Enforcement solution.

  • Website of interest

I found a website that perfectly encapsulates our national schizophrenia on several of the big issues we face. It’s a private website for a park, but not just any park: Border Field State Park, which includes the Tijuana River Sanctuary.

  • Obama for Resident

Today’s paper reports that Barack Obama “announced his bid for president Saturday, a black man evoking Abraham Lincoln’s ability to unite a nation.” I don’t know which is more frightening: That the AP reporters and editors who produced this story are insane, or Obama is and no one else has yet noticed it.

  • Global warming = global control?

It’s striking to see how the hysteria about “global warming” has ramped up in the last month or so. Since the big push to implement the Kyoto Protocol world-wide, I have had the impression that this was yet another attempt to transition to a one-world government. Today, we see in this article in the San Diego Tribune (https://www.signonsandiego.com/news/world/20070201-1047-france-us-carbontax.html), another aspect of this attempt. Control gives the ability to tax, and tax dollars enable more control — if by no other means than going after those who don’t pay the tax.

  • Join Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus

I believe immigration levels are too high. I hope you will support the Immigration Reform Caucus in their effort to achieve sensible immigration policies.
