Concealed carry reciprocity
Thank you for your response regarding H.R. 822 (recognizing reciprocal carry laws nation-wide).
-
Please support H.R. 822
I am writing to urge you to support and vote for the passage of H.R. 822, the “National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act of 2011.”
-
Stop ‘extra’ visas
We don’t support bills that increase foreign workers, particularly those that favor one nationality over another. That’s what Sen. Brown’s E-3 visa bill is and we hope you will oppose it.
-
Secure our border
To say I am disturbed by the video of drug smugglers sneaking into the United States using an automotive jack is putting it mildly. To be honest, I’m in an apoplectic fury. Everyone who has said that our border is secure has been lying and the proof is in the video.

Defunding 287(g)
It is detrimental to the security of the populace for you to attempt to defund the 287(g) program in your FY2013 budget request. I fail to understand how a commander-in-chief can end a program that saves lives and removes criminals from the streets. Clearly, you are putting your political interests above the interests of the American people.
-
Don’t defund 287(g)
I am outraged that President Obama is so desperate to curry the favor of certain ethnic interest groups that he is willing to cut funding to the 287(g) program. I urge you to make sure that this particularly obscene element of his FY2013 budget does not make its way through Congress.

Defund illegal aliens
Americans and legal immigrants should not have to pay the price for the government’s refusal to stop illegal aliens from coming into this country. Please support the Child Tax Credit Integrity Preservation Act (H.R. 3444) so that illegal aliens are no longer allowed to claim the Child Tax Credit.
-
Thanks for working for America
Thank you for being such a positive force in fighting the forces that put Americans out of work and drive down U.S. wages (illegal immigration and foreign worker importation). Your good NumbersUSA Immigration-Reduction Grade proves you care about jobless Americans.
-
Thanks for supporting American workers
Thank you for cosponsoring H.R. 2885, a bill that will put jobless Americans into jobs currently held by illegal aliens.
-
Thanks for cosponsoring the SAVE Act
I was thrilled to learn that you are a cosponsor of the SAVE Act!
-
Support the CLEAR Act
Illegal aliens, especially those who have committed crimes, pose a serious threat to citizens and legal residents in the U.S. Please cosponsor the CLEAR Act, which would clarify the authority of local law enforcement to deal with illegal aliens, and provide funding to enable them to effectively exercise that authority. Sheriffs from across the United States are visiting Washington, D.C., this week seeking more federal help and you can help these sheriffs by cosponsoring the CLEAR Act.
-
Restrict chain migration
I would be grateful if you were to consider cosponsoring H.R. 692, the Nuclear Family Priority Act.

Pushing Americans out of jobs
Your recent decision to attempt to extend work authorization to the spouses of H-1B workers is downright disgusting. You are simply pandering to the unscrupulous business hucksters who would rather hire cheap foreign workers instead of paying a living wage to U.S. workers.
-
No special visas for illegals
Please oppose Sen. Brown’s bill to import more foreign workers from Ireland.
-
H-1B spouses
Barack Obama’s recent decision to attempt to extend work authorization to the spouses of H-1B workers is downright disgusting. He is simply pandering to the unscrupulous business hucksters who would rather hire cheap foreign workers instead of paying a living wage to U.S. workers.
-
End the visa lottery
H.R. 704 would create a much needed reform in U.S. immigration policy by eliminating the visa lottery. The House Judiciary Committee supports this legislation and I believe you should as well. Please add your name to the list of cosponsors.
-
End birthright citizenship
Automatic birthright citizenship harms the children of vulnerable citizens and legal immigrant workers. Pass H.R. 140 and help open up job opportunities for our unemployed.
-
Continuing to import foreign workers
Jennifer Wedel brought a problem to you that many Americans face: unemployment. And, unfortunately, you were reluctant to acknowledge that your immigration policies were preventing her husband from finding a job. Only when you freeze the importation of so many unnecessary H-1B workers will highly-trained individuals like Mr. Wedel will get back to work.

Put U.S. citizens in U.S. jobs
Speaker of the House John Boehner has asked all of his Representatives to focus on one area: jobs. I agree with him that putting Americans back to work is a top priority. With this in mind, I urge you to support the Legal Workforce Act (H.R. 2885), which provides a superabundance of means for illegal aliens to be dispossessed of their U.S. jobs, thus allowing the 22 million Americans without a full-time job a chance of filling them.
