• Poll Shows Opposition to Executive Amnesty, Support for Enforcement

I am glad that House Republicans voted in favor of H.R. 5272. President Obama should not be able to amnesty illegal aliens at will. A new poll highlighted by Politico shows that most Americans support this legislation.

  • Poll Shows Opposition to Executive Amnesty, Support for Enforcement

A new Politico article highlights a poll which shows that Democratic voters are supportive of H.R. 5272, the House-passed legislation to stop President Obama’s executive amnesty actions, but are against S. 744, the Senate-passed “Gang of Eight” amnesty. I hope you will take this poll to heart and support policies that stop these amnesties and protect American workers.

  • Oppose Obama’s executive amnesties

I am e-mailing you today to ask that you take three important actions to oppose Obama’s executive amnesties:

  • No lame duck session

Sen. Ted Cruz is circulating a letter asking Majority Leader Reid not to call a lame duck session of Congress in order to pass controversial pieces of legislation. I hope you will sign this letter.

  • No executive amnesty!

The Washington Post is reporting that your Administration is preparing to move forward with an executive action that would protect 5-6 million illegal aliens from deportation and grant them work permits. But it was your similar action for childhood arrivals that caused the ongoing border crisis, and an expanded action would make the situation worse. I urge you stop protecting illegal aliens and start protecting American workers.

  • Thank you for supporting H.R. 5272

I am glad you voted in favor of H.R. 5272. Please continue to do all you can to stop President Obama’s pro-illegal alien policies.

  • Do you support further illegal amnesties?

The House recently voted against President Obama’s expansion of executive amnesties. Do you support the House bill to block the president’s executive amnesty program and will you demand it receive a vote in the Senate?

  • Tell HHS no warehousing of illegals in California

Please do not allow the federal government to house illegal aliens in our state. The Obama administration is responsible for the influx at the border and should not be forcing our state to deal with the consequences.

  • We need yet more birth control

Barack and Michelle Obama are the type of persons you get when Affirmative Action and The Peter Principle have children.

  • Sen. Sessions Exposes White House’s Role in Border Influx

Tuesday, Sen. Sessions spoke on the Senate floor about President Obama’s role in the border influx.

  • Poll Shows that More Americans Want Immigration Decrease

Gallup has released a new poll showing that a plurality of Americans want to reduce immigration numbers. 41% of Americans want to reduce immigration numbers, while only 22% of Americans want to increase immigration.

  • Please cosponsor King’s resolution

Very shortly, Rep. Steve King will introduce a resolution that urges border state governors to call out the National Guard to help secure the border. I hope you will contact Rep. King’s office and tell him you want to be an original cosponsor.

  • Oppose Cuellar/Cornyn border bill

The bill introduced by Rep. Henry Cuellar and Sen. John Cornyn to combat the border crisis would weaken current law while only addressing a small part of the problem. The bill is nothing more than a shiny object that will ultimately detract blame from President Obama and his failure to enforce existing laws. Please oppose this bill and instead apply pressure on the administration to secure the border and enforce our laws using the tools already at their disposal.

  • Bad Border Bill Could Worsen Border Surge

We were disappointed to learn that Rep. McCaul is pushing for his border security bill, H.R.1417, to be part of the House’s response to the ongoing border crisis. Rep. McCaul’s bill would weaken existing law, and given what’s happening along the Southwest border, now is not the time to be weakening existing laws. Please do not support the inclusion of H.R.1417 in your response to what’s happening at the border.

  • AP: Backlash against foreign tech workers

The Associated Press has a new report out that focuses on some of the backlash amongst U.S. tech workers over the tech industry’s usage of foreign worker visas, specifically the use of the H-1B visa. The report highlights issues such as wage stagnation and age discrimination. Please read the following report in its entirety and stand up for America’s tech workers by rejecting calls to increase high-tech foreign worker visas!

  • Say NO to the McCaul border bill

Please do not support Rep. McCaul’s efforts to include his border legislation, H.R.1417, as part of the solution to end the border surge. The bill would weaken current law and give the Senate an opportunity to attach the Gang of Eight’s amnesty to the deal.

  • Fight plans to house illegal aliens across the country

Please do not allow the federal government to house illegal aliens in our state. The Obama administration is responsible for the influx at the border and should not be forcing our state to deal with the consequences.

  • No housing for illegals!

I cannot understand why the federal government is allowing illegal aliens to flood into our country. The end result is that DHS and HHS are trying to house illegal aliens at sites around the country. Please make sure that no illegal aliens are brought to our state.

  • Obama’s accomplishments

Quit trashing Obama’s accomplishments. He has done more than any other President before him.
