I understand that outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is trying to force the DREAM Act amnesty through the House during the lame duck session. I hope you realize that the American people have made it loud and clear that we oppose amnesty and we expect Congress to uphold our will.

Keep up the good work
We are glad you have worked to protect at-risk American workers from increased foreign worker imports! 22 million Americans cannot find a job and we are glad you are looking out for them. We hope you will do even more to help out these Americans.
There is nothing progressive or just about running immigration policy as a cheap labor scheme — especially given the extremely high U-6 unemployment rates for Americans with no more than a high school degree and the millions of jobs lost during the recession. The Democratic Party leadership is in denial about the damage this is doing to the most disadvantaged Americans.
Thank you for recognizing that this situation is unjust and that the Democratic Party should not be in cahoots with the special interests that profit from importing more and more foreign workers. Please remember that the vast majority of Democrats, and the majority of Americans of all ethnicities, support moderating immigration numbers, and please do all you can to help bring that about.

I hope you find Resident Obama’s willingness to circumvent Congress and allow USCIS and ICE to issue de fact amnesties to illegal aliens as repulsive and outrageous as I do. Please ask to become an original cosponsor of Rep. Lamar Smith’s HALT Act so that this practice is stopped at once.

No DREAM Act
I must admit that I have no idea why you support the anti-American worker, anti-American student DREAM Act amnesty. However, I hope you realize that a jobs depression is the wrong time to try to force this legislation through Congress.
22 million Americans cannot find a job and neither the economy nor the job market shows any sign of improving in the near or distant future. The DREAM Act amnesty will only make it that much more difficult for these unemployed Americans (native born and legal immigrants alike) to find jobs.
I urge you to reconsider your support for the DREAM Act amnesty during these trying times. The American people are counting on Congress to improve, on harm, our lives. Please don’t let us down.
