A group of nine Latin American foreign ministers – Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, and Peru — have written to U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, urging the U.S. to end its “wet foot, dry foot” policy for Cuban immigrants. I urge you to listen to their arguments and support passage of H.R. 3818, the Ending Special National Origin-Based Immigration Programs for Cubans Act, to end the special status Cuban immigrants have.

Enact 10 steps to fix our broken immigration enforcement system

I think there’s no better authority on the issue of illegal immigration than retired Border Patrol officers. I urge you to take action on these 10 actions to finally end illegal immigration and help get jobless Americans back to work.

Three conditions for emergency funding

On July 8, Pres. Obama submitted an $3.7 billion emergency funding request to help stop the illegal-alien border surge on the U.S.-Mexico border. Unfortunately, the President’s request would only help relieve the symptoms rather than fix the actual causes for the surge. Supporting sanctuaries of crime and violence

It is disappointing that you voted against the motions to invoke cloture on S. 3100 and S. 2193. The bills would have stopped sanctuary cities from shielding criminal aliens and would have saved Americans’ lives. I cannot understand you willingness to protect illegal aliens at the expense of innocent Americans.
