Birthright citizenship leads to more unemployed citizens and legal immigrant workers by making it more difficult to remove illegal workers who have U.S.-born children. Please cosponsor H.R. 140, the Birthright Citizenship Act, to end this practice.
Please consider cosponsoring H.R. 2278, the SAFE for America Act. This legislation would end the fraud-ridden visa lottery and needs to be ended to preserve our nation’s security.

We cannot understand why Congress and the Obama administration are not requiring federal agencies to enforce immigration laws and not requiring states and localities to assist in enforcing the law. The tragic shooting death of Kate Steinle by a five-times deported illegal alien could have been prevented if the laws currently on the books were enforced. Please support and help to pass H.R. 1148, the Davis-Oliver Act. This bill would outlaw sanctuary cities and require all immigration laws to be enforced.
On July 8, Pres. Obama submitted an $3.7 billion emergency funding request to help stop the illegal-alien border surge on the U.S.-Mexico border. Unfortunately, the President’s request would only help relieve the symptoms rather than fix the actual causes for the surge.
