I was disappointed to learn that DHS Secretary Mayorkas has issued an additional 65,000 H-2B visas. As H-2B visas typically cover seasonal and temporary low-skill jobs, these visas disproportionately harm young and less-educated Americans. Increasing H-2B visa numbers would prevent thousands more young Americans from entering the workplace.

The U.S. Citizenship Act would more than double immigration and issue green cards to more than 37 million new permanent job seekers from abroad, not counting the work permits that would be granted to illegal workers.

Resident Biden’s mass amnesty for illegal aliens, the U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021, has been introduced by Sen. Robert Menendez and Rep. Linda Sanchez. The Gang of 8’s 2013 amnesty legislation was a bad bill, but the Biden amnesty bill is incalculably worse.
