As a freedom-loving American, I strongly oppose the nomination of David Chipman for Director of the ATF.

Oppose CA AB-1223 — taxing gun ownership

I am writing to you today to express my opposition to AB-1223, which would impose an unjust financial burden on working-class Californians by placing a tax on firearms and ammunition sales.

Oppose CA SB-264

I am writing to you today to stand with Firearms Policy Coalition and express my opposition to California Senate Bill 264, which would prevent the use of property owned or leased by the state for the purpose of selling guns or ammunition.

Oppose CA AB 311 — ban on precursor parts at gun shows

I stand with FPC and I am writing to you today to express my opposition to California AB-311, a bill that would make participation in free trade and free association even more difficult, and without any real benefit.

Oppose universal background check legislation

I am writing to you today to alert you to legislation which would severely infringe on the rights of law-abiding gun owners. As a supporter of the Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC), I strongly oppose these bills.

Please oppose AB 1223, AB 1237, and AB 1509

As a fellow California resident, I ask you to please oppose Assembly Bills 1223, 1237, and 1509.

AB 1223 imposes a special tax on firearms and ammunition on top of existing sales tax. It is unjust to saddle law-abiding gun owners with special taxes to fund social service programs. Such a measure makes it more expensive for law-abiding citizens, like me, to exercise a constitutional right, and discourages us from practicing to be safe and proficient with our firearms for purposes such as self-defense, competition, and hunting.
